There are those occasions when our homes get invaded by all kinds of creatures and it is at this time that we mostly call for an exterminator to come and fix the problem. This may well be rodents, ants or anything that is intent on eating our leftovers or scraps that drop here and there, but the worst creature to have in the home is termites. These creatures are virtually eating machines and they will not stop until there is no more wood to be had. For those who do not know what to look for when an infestation is suspected, this usually shows itself with tiny holes in wood, dust like debris around furniture or skirting boards, or hollowed out wood anywhere in the home. The creatures literally eat from inside out so the paint may be all that is holding wood together eventually. The other thing that people do not realize too is that once one of these bugs gets into the home, it lays down scent trails to tell its nest mates that there is a good food source there.
